Special Events

Each afternoon during JAHC 2012, we’ll change the pace of the conference with an engaging Special Event. In 2011 we debuted the film Homeopathy Around the World. This film continues to spread the word about homeopathy and support projects that are making a difference around the globe. (Watch a trailer here.)

This year, we are proud to preview two new film projects. On Friday afternoon, Canadian homeopath, Ananda More, will update us on her coming film about the progress made using homeopathy in Cuba. On Saturday, Carol Boyce will preview her latest work--a “game-changer” for the discussions surrounding homeopathy.

On Sunday afternoon we’ll once again host the “Homeopathic Dialogue”. This panel discussion, featuring prominent homeopaths from around the world, was a high point in our 2011 conference. Expect a lively debate! Our distinguished international speakers will again take the stage together, addressing questions on homeopathic practice, philosophy, and research, as they air their widely diverse views. This is a must-see event!

Film Update

Carol will be unveiling a new film demonstrating scientific proof of the efficacy of homeopathic medicine.

Carol Boyce was in the middle of writing her PhD thesis at London University when she found The Life of Hahnemann on a library shelf, and the rest, as they say, is history. She has practiced and taught homeopathy for 25 years. Her film, Homeopathy Around the World, takes stock of just how far homeopathy has spread in the last 25 years, offering an inside look at the incredible work being done by dedicated clinicians and teachers around the world. Ananda is a Toronto-based homeopath, Reiki Master and doula. She is working on a film project that features a look at homeopathy in Cuba.

In Search of Evidence – Film Update

Ananda will present an update on the project, focusing on the documentary evidence she gathered in her travels to Cuba, where she explored national homeoprophylaxis interventions, the use of homeopathy in cancer treatment, homeopathic family medicine and more. She is passionate about presenting this information, emphasizing its profound and significant implications for public health and disease prevention.

Ananda More is co-owner of Riverdale Homeopathy, a Homeopathic Dispensary, Bookstore, Wellness Clinic and a hub for homeopathy in Toronto. She trained at the Ontario College of Homeopathy, and is a graduate of Louis Klein’s Homeopathic Master Clinician course. Ananda is also a Reiki Master and doula. She organizes homeopathic seminars with international teachers in Toronto and she also has a thriving family practice.
