When thinking of homeopathic history, there are two major books that come to mind. The first is William Harvey King's four volume set of "The History of Homeopothy in America"--published in 1905. The second is Harris Coulter's "Devided Legacy, Volume III"--published in 1973.
Winston is indebted to both authors for the inspiration to assemble this video--to Coulter for being the major reference source when he first taught 'homeopathic history' at the National Center for Homeopathy Summer School in 1981, and to King for both the sections in his books that he calls reminiscences--which made the names into people in their experiences, and for illustrating his books with the portraits of the people who made it happen.
Julian Winston served as Dean of The National Center for Instruction from 1988 to 1992. He joined the Board of Directors for the National Center of Homeopathy in 1982, and was the Editor of "Homeopathy Today" (the newsletter of NCH) from 1984. From 1969 to 1995 he was an Associate Professor of Design at the Univeristy of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA.
